Please complete the application form in full and send it together with a color passport photo and the medical report to the Road Traffic Office, Gerwerbeweg 2, 9490 Vaduz.

Definition of walking disability

A significant walking disability is defined as a person with a walking disability who is permanently or temporarily only able to walk up to approx. 200m, or is only able to walk with special aids or with the help of an accompanying person. The type of walking disability must be certified with a medical certificate.

Use and application of the parking card

The parking permit is issued to the disabled person or to an organization and is non-transferable. The parking card may only be used for the actual transportation of disabled persons.

The parking concessions only apply if there are no free parking spaces within reasonable walking distance of the parking space that are open for unlimited general use, even if these are subject to a charge. The needs of goods handling must be taken into account when making use of the facilities.

Displaying the parking card

The parking card must be clearly visible in the parked vehicle behind the windshield.

Validity / Duration

The parking card is valid for a limited period and for a maximum of 5 years. The parking card is recognized in the Principality of Liechtenstein and in the countries that have joined the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (CEMT).

Fees

Parking cards for disabled persons are free of charge.
